Chios is a hybrid vest combining woven and knitted fabrics. The upper part is made from Pile, crafted from 100% Italian recycled wool from Manteco. The lower part is diamond quilted and padded with Wool Rebels' proprietary insulation made from 100% Swedish wool; FÅRTEX®. It features two zippered side pockets at the front and a deep crescent-shaped chest pocket at the top. The fit is true to size, with thumb holes at the sleeve cuffs.

Insulation: FÅRTEX® - 100% organic Swedish wool. Water-resistant, durable, and compostable. Exceptionally high warmth-to-weight ratio.

Fabric: Recycled, Oeko-Tex certified nylon. Ripstop construction for high durability. Water-resistant, highly windproof, ultralight, and packable.

Logo label: Made from wool.

Hand-screen printed label: Made in Malmö on deadstock fabric (organic cotton) from Rekotex.

Your Wool Rebel garment has the most amazing insulation. The simplest way to freshen it up after a hike is to hang it on a hanger outdoors overnight. The built-in microorganisms in FÅRTEX® insulation take care of the cleaning and remove any odor. If you get stains on the fabric, try removing them with a damp cloth.

If that still doesn’t help after rolling around in mud, you can machine wash your Wool Rebel garment on a 30° wool program. Make sure your washing program doesn’t spin faster than 500 rpm.

Do not tumble dry or iron the garment. Dry cleaning is also not recommended. Wash separately or with similar colors. Lay flat to dry in a well-ventilated room.

We produce in small batches, and when the product is in stock, delivery takes approximately 7 business days, depending on your location.
